Professional secrecy
Article 226-13 of the French Code Pénal - Paragraph 1: Of the breach of Professional Secrecy
Ordinance No. 2000-916 of 19 September 2000 Article 3 Official Journal of 22 September into force 1 January 2002
The disclosure of secret information by a person entrusted with such a secret, either because of his position or profession, or because of a temporary function or mission, is punished by one year's imprisonment and a fine of €15,000.
We guarantee to all our clients that the documents they send us are kept confidential. All our service providers are also bound by the professional secrecy obligation.
Upon request, we will send you, prior to receiving the confidential document(s) a formal confidentiality agreement signed by us and our service providers.
Data Security
We commit to keeping all information communicated to us confidential before, during and after the provision of our service. Original documents are returned to clients or destroyed upon written request. Translations will also be deleted upon written request.
We cannot be held responsible should the information be captured during data transfers, including on the Internet. Therefore, it is up to clients to inform us prior to or upon ordering, of the special transfer method to be implemented to guarantee the confidentiality of any sensitive information.
This is why we highly recommend that clients secure data, before sending it to us, as follows:
- set a password to open and edit files, and
- send us the password in a separate email
Depending on how sensitive it is, your data may need to be encrypted and secured by an SSL certificate (see relevant procedure page).
